Mr. Geremew, an Ethiopian and who has earned his B.Sc degree in Health
Education and Behavioral Sciences from the Jimma university, Ethiopia and, his
M.Sc degree in Reproductive Health from Pan African University Life and Earth
Science (Including Health and Agriculture) Institute /PAULESI, University of
Ibadan, Nigeria. He is one of the senior management team at ANPPCAN-SOM
with immense working experiences here so far as a Public Health Consultant,
Sexual and Reproductive Health/SRH expert, Lecturer and, Trainer of Trainers at
higher level for several years. He is also the head of the program department who
is in charge of overseeing the overall programs run by the organization. With the
versatile, dynamic and effective leadership, he is making an enormous difference
since he has joined ANPPCAN-SOM. Moreover, he is a senior and certified SRH
and Human Behavior/HEP expert by FDRE-FMHACA.
Amaal is a passionate educator and cognitive enthusiast with strong interest and first-hand knowledge of issues affecting Education, Health and Community Learning & Development. Currently providing leadership to ensure the progression of the Somaliland Civil Society Network for Scaling-Up Nutrition (SLCSN-SUN) towards the agreed outcomes through effective dialogue with a range of stakeholders including CSN members, Executive Committee, Government counterparts, UN agencies and donors. Amaal has experience in working in the UK, UAE and Somaliland amongst people with culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. Additionally, she has an enquiring mind and excellent problem solving skills and believes her brilliant interpersonal skills as well as her approachable and friendly character is key to being an effective team player.
